IASPM-US Sounds of the City Book Fair

We are excited to announce the 2012 IASPM-US Sounds of the City Book Fair held at New York University March 23-25 as part of combined International Association for the Study of Popular Music (US chapter) annual conference and the Experience Music Project Pop Conference.

We will be hosting the book fair at the site of the conference, the Kimmel Center at New York University. The conference is free and open to the public, as will be the book fair.

Registration Fees
Tier 1) Major publishers/bookstore chain/scholarly press $500
Tier 2) Small independent press, literary magazines, music magazines, music websites, record stores: $250
Tier 3) Pop music activists, musician/writer healthcare non-profits, writing non-profits: $25

Package includes: space, table, skirts, two chairs, wifi, bottled water, ID sign, exhibitor listing on website and in the conference guide

There is a $25 fee for an extra table.

Registration Schedule
Early Registration Discounted Fee: Subtract $50 per table ( Tier three excluded. From November 1 to December 1, 2011).
Standard Registration Fee: December 2 ? February 1, 2012
Late Registration Fee: Add $50 per table February 2 – March 10, 2012
(No registrations accepted after March 10.)
Cancellation Fee: 50% through February 1, 2012.
No refunds for cancellations after February 2, 2011.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
