Call for Round-Ups and Official Conference Hashtag

by justindburton on March 15, 2012

The 2012 IASPM-US/POP Conference is only a week away!

We’d like to feature a handful of round-ups of the conference in the week or two after it ends, so we’re looking for volunteers to step up. The round-up need only be 700-1200 words giving an overview of the ideas, sessions, and general vibe of the conference as you experienced it. That last bit is most important: there’s no need to do anything other than attend the panels and sessions that interest you most, then sit down and reflect on all of that within a few days of returning from the conference.

If you’re interested, email Justin Burton at iaspmus@gmail.com or justindburton@gmail.com

Finally, many of us will be tweeting during the conference, and it seems best if we settle on a universal hashtag for conference-related tweets. Let’s use #popcon, as suggested by Eric Weisbard. Also, don’t forget the twitter handles of the three main entities: @empmuseum, @iaspmus, and @clivedavisinst.
